Cavite State University welcomes the students in the University Games 2015 with the year's theme, "Strengthening Sports Towards Excellence," held at Cavite State University Indang, Cavite, Monday, September 14.

 

The event was participated by students and faculty members from different colleges (College of Arts and Sciences, College of Economics and Development Studies, College of Agriculture Forestry Environment and Natural Resources, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Education, College of Sports Physical Education and Recreation, College of Engineering and Information Technolgy, College of Criminal Justice) and different satellite campuses (Bacoor Campus, Naic Campus, Tanza Campus, Trece Martirez Campus, Gen. Trias Campus, Imus Campus, Silang Campus, Carmona Campus, Maragondon Campus, Cavite City Campus, and Rosario Campus) hosted by College of Nursing and Bacoor Campus.

 

Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla gave an inspirational message as the guest speaker of the much awaited event. "Ang sport ay tulad sa panliligaw, may sumasagot ng oo at may basted ngunit ang pagkabasted ay hindi dahilan para mawalan ng pag-asa," she said. The focus of her message was to encourage the youth to develop their skills and learn values from each game. The congresswoman added that she is always open to the youth and she ended her message saying, "Play hard but play fair. Give your all to win and have fun."
