JournSem 2015 opens opportunities to journalist

The 15th Journalism Seminar was successfully explored the world of journalism last October 1 at Cavite State University (CvSU) Gymnasium Indang, Cavite.

 

More than 300 journalism students and 15 students from different courses participated in the said event together with faculty members, Department of Languages and Mass Communication Chairman Mr. Manny A. Romeroso and the dean of College of Arts and Sciences, Mrs. Lynn G. Penales.

 

The theme of the years journalism seminar ia “Iba ‘To: Paglalakabay sa Mas Malawak na Mundo ng Dyornalismo” wanted to imply that journalism is not always about writing but it can be extended in different mediums.

The speakers of the said event were come from different fields of media. Mr Jefferson Caparas, a news anchor from TV5 discussed about “Matalinong Pagbuo ng Konsepto para sa Komprehensibong Pag-uulat ng mga Sensitibong Balita.” A Cavite State University alumnus and UPLB Associated Professor, Mr Cheeno Marlo Sayuno talked about “Makulay na Panitik Para sa Pagsasalaysay ng mga Kwentong Pambata.” Another pride of CvSU, Ms. Evageline Ajero, a DZRH radio announcer, tackled about “Boses at Prinsipyo para sa Matalinong Pagtatalakay ng mga Isyung Panlipunan.” And last butdefinitely not the least, Mr. Albert Magcamit, also a CvSU alumnus and Non Linear/FCP editor of GMA, share his knowledge on “Angkop at Mahusay na Editing: Mahalagang Aspeto sa Paglikha ng mga Natatanging Eksena at Kabuuan ng Isang Programa.”

 

This seminar was organized by 4th year AB Journalism students who wants to inspire, encourage and open the minds of aspiring journalist in different forms of media.
